The Logitech G Pro X Wireless offers comfort and sound quality at a very appealing price.

One of the most well-liked gaming headsets on the market is the Logitech G Pro X.Through the Logitech G Hub software, they provide excellent 7.1 channel surround sound and good equalization choices. The new G Pro X Wireless that we are reviewing today is entirely wireless and keeps all of the advantages of the prior GPro.

They provide the same sound quality and operate using a USB wireless transmitter. Although we lament that they lack an extra 3.5mm connection, they sound excellent for the price. We cover all the essential information regarding the fantastic new Logitech GPro in this post.

Design

A wireless version of the Logitech G Pro X headset is the G Pro X Wireless. They preserve the same design as the wired model and have very high build quality. The G logo is encased in a stylish metallic circle on the oval-shaped, black cups. Soft memory foam cushioning with a faux leather finish is present on the band as well as the cups.

You may wear the helmets for hours on end without experiencing any discomfort. Although they incorporate a battery, they are not as light as the wired GPro yet still do not weigh much. They do not put uncomfortable pressure on the head and fit snugly. They include more pads that retain less heat and provide less sound insulation from outside sounds. They also bring a carry case and the charging wire.

A detachable microphone with a flexible arm and a capsule protection is integrated into the left cup. A power switch, a button to mute the microphone, a volume potentiometer, and a USB-C charging port may all be found in the left cup.

The G Pro Wireless from Logitech are equally as good as the previous version. The 3.5mm cable is replaced by a 2.4GHz wireless connection using a USB transmitter, which is the only distinguishing feature. They provide lag-free wireless audio and are incredibly simple to use. Simply switch on the headphones and connect the transmitter to your PC, PlayStation, or Nintendo.
Small and rectangular in shape, the USB Wireless Transmitter resembles a USB flash drive. It incorporates an LED indicator that illuminates when you connect it to your console or PC and bears the Logitech brand.

Logitech G hub

The Logitech G Pro X Wireless gaming headset is compatible with Windows 7 and later operating systems and is primarily intended for usage with PCs. Through the Logitech G Hub software, it provides extra features, including 7.1 simulated channels of surround sound. DTS Headphone:X.

You can also modify the sound to your preferences using the 10-band equalization and several settings provided by this software. The controls on the left cup of the Logitech G Pro make managing all the key features very simple.

The Logitech G Pro X Wireless’s independence

According to Logitech, the GPro X Wireless’s battery lasts more than 20 hours on a single charge. Indeed, after testing them we know that they speak the truth. We use them with an output of about 75dB for about 22 hours. The Logitech G pro Wireless charges using a USB-C cable, and the entire process takes approximately two hours.

Microphone

Thanks to Blue Voice technology, the wireless Logitech G Pro X offers similar microphone tuning options as the wired Logitech G Pro X. A three-band microphone equalization as well as other functions including a high-pass filter, noise reduction, and a compressor can be found in the G Hub. In order to obtain the best sound, you can alter each of these variables. Additionally, it enables the usage of various settings for Blue and eSports players.

Although there are many different microphone settings available, the factory defaults don’t produce as clean of a sound as the more costly Razer models. We advise using a standalone USB microphone for recordings if you want them to sound professional. If you are a user with few followers, the performance is flawless.

Sound quality

Gaming and movie watching are both made possible by the G Hub software’s simulated surround sound feature. increases the bass response compared to stereo mode by adding a separate bass channel. Excellent headphones for listening to music are the Logitech G Pro. They do have some distortion at really high volumes, but if you bring the volume down a bit, you won’t hear it.

They incorporate Pro G 50mm transducers, which provide an accurate and clear sense of space in addition to a genuine sound. They sound just as nice as the wired GPro despite being wireless. When playing any type of music, the performance is good. The treble is not an issue, and the bass sounds deep. Similar to how midtones pop out in the mix, they are there. The vowels are audibly distinct.

The tonal harmony is effectively realized. The strong bass of the Logitech G Pro X Wireless doesn’t overpower other frequencies. Without sacrificing the voices’ clarity, you can experience all the effects. You can use them in an office setting with confidence because of their design, which effectively insulates you from outside noise. They lack active noise reduction technology, though, so you cannot be isolated in noisy surroundings.

Fantastic performance in games

The wireless Logitech G Pro X is intended to be used while gaming, much like the wired version. You can wear these for hours on end without feeling uncomfortable because they are so comfortable. Doom was used to test DTS surround sound, and the results were excellent. The sources of explosions and effects can be easily identified thanks to pans and blends, which are quite realistic. Similarly, the sound of gunfire is robust, and the music playing in the background is crisp and distinct.

They perform flawlessly in games like Fortnite. You can rapidly determine where the shots are coming from with the Logitech GPro so that you can run or aim. The sound is consistently balanced, and the various weapons and effects may be easily distinguished. The only drawback is that consoles do not support surround sound. Despite this, the Logitech G Pro works well with consoles like the PlayStation and Nintendo, and it offers decent performance in games without surround sound.

The GPros’ wireless range is 15 meters, as claimed by Logitech, and they are being honest. As long as you keep inside this broad range, connectivity issues won’t arise.

Conclusion

The Logitech G Pro X is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a wireless gaming headset with a decent microphone. They are incredibly cozy headphones that provide excellent sound and provide you lots of equalization options via the G Hub program.
